DSROA Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Friday, December 10 at 4 PM

at the ERA meeting room 

 

Board Members Present:  Dirk Clayson, Brent Fullmer, Dale Clarkson, Dave Turley, Kathy Duvall,

Ben Clarkson (excused early) & Shawna Cox (Came Later)

 

Others Present: Paul and Nancy Brayton Ranch Managers, Linda Alderman Secretary/Reservation Clerk,Ken Lent & Mike Duvall.

 

 

 

1.  Welcome Dirk Clayson

2. November Minutes

        Motion by Kathy Duvall to accept the    

        Second by Brent Fullmer

             The vote was unanimous

 

3.  Areas of Responsibility:

  Review of board member assignments.

    a.    Roads and Fire Protection - Brent Fullmer

    b.    Ranch Activities, Finance - Shawna Cox

    c.    Water Resources and Management -  Dale Clarkson

    d.    Agricultural ad Wildlife - Dirk Clayson

    e.    Facilities, Cabin Maintenance - Kathy Duvall

    f.     Legal and Public Safety - Ben Clarkson

    g.    Ranch Communications and Reservations, Web development - David Turley 

 

4.  Financial Report : Linda Alderman

      a. As of Dec 8, 2011 there was:

            $11,447.97  in the main working account of the Ranch

                $783.96 in the Caretakers account

             $1,682.05 in the Savings Account and

                 $90.00 in the Capital Improvements Account.

 

5.  Discussion - 2011 Budget

     Areas of responsibility were addressed as each item was discussed.

     a. $120,000.00 Budget was agreed upon for a working total of the Assessments paid.

     b. Yearly Operating Expenses were Reviewed and totaled.

     c.  A list of 27 submitted items to be considered by the Board for the 2011 budget was then reviewed and listed in order of priority is as follows:

6. Ranch Manager's report - Paul Brayton

      a. The GMC truck was sold for $2000.00 and the White Ford may have a buyer.

         

7. Motion by Kathy Duvall to adjourn to and Executive Meeting to discuss overdue Assessments and Ranch Managers request for an increase in pay.   

    Second by Brent Fullmer

    Vote was Unanimous
