MINUTES

1. Welcome –Marc Cram
A. Prayer -
B. Roll Call - Board Members: Marc Cram, Ryan Dudinski, Shawna Cox, Dale Clarkson, Jodi Akers
Those in Attendence: Linda Alderman, Jeff, Evie, and Zack Wingad, Lee Beller, Larry Clarkson, Brent Fullmer, Steve Browning.


2. Approval of April Board Meeting Minutes -
Minutes of April Meeting were read on line. Dale motioned to accept minutes as written, seconded by Jodi Akers. Voting was unanimous.


3. Financial Report: - Linda Alderman
Balance Sheets and Budget Vs Actual Reports dated as of May 10, 2012 were handed out to board members.


4. Ranch Manager Brent Reported that the big generator is now optional. The Garden Cabin is up and functional. Cabin 9 is rented out and will be up and running before the 15th of May.
Upper cabins by May 18th - 20th .
High Pressure on water lines need pressure reducer replaced.
Linda will meet with Evie in town on Monday for the Laundry Run to show her the ropes.
14,000 gallon water tank on upper cabins is full but don’t drink the water before the tests
Results come back. Please check with the Managers first. Mark Fisher with the Kane County Water Conservancy Dist. Will show Jeff how to take water samples. Brent will be there also. Sample needs to be taken every quarter.


Ranch Manager: Jeff and Evie arrived early early this morning.
At 8 a.m. Brent Fullmer gave Jeff and Zack along with Shawna Cox the “Tour” around the Ranch house in and out.
After meeting Linda Alderman to tour All cabins with Evie and train on duties in regard to cabins and ranch. Jodi Akers accompanied tour.

6.  Roads and Fire Protection – Marc Cram
Discussion about Wingate and other youth programs near DSR. Linda to get contact information to Ben Clarkson.
Brent is working on “Community Fire Plan”. Need a 4,000 gallon over flow water tank
Connection. There is a signed agreement with BLM and Forest Service that they can dip and pump from our DSR ponds incase of fire etc.
Linda, We need board member names and numbers in case of emergencies. Also a contact list for contractors we use such as Larry Clarkson, Nolan Button etc.


7. Agricultural and Wildlife – Ben Clarkson ,Vice President
Ben Clarkson (absent) sent a message that we have had reported speeders on the Meadow Ranch Road. The report was a 90’s Chevy 4x4 pickup. Suggested we put up speed limit signs (4) signs with 25 MPH on the North and South ends. Maybe even put in speed bumps where possible.

9. Ranch Activities - Shawna Cox
Ranch Activities (Shawna Cox) are scheduled for June 2 for anyone who want to bring their own horses and drive cattle from Treavor Leaches to the Windmill on the Ranch with the Doug Hunt group a 12 mile ride.
The Big Cattle Drive will be a big deal on July 8th and 9th at the Ranch. Beginning at Broad Hollow to the Meadow we will drive 50 head of Longhorn. This is a bring your own horse and insurance. There will be a bar-b-que and pot luck afterwards. Lets make it a GREAT DAY!

Dave Turley (absent) no Facilities report.


11. Legal and Public Safety – Jodi Akers, Treasurer
Jodi Akers had no Legal and Public Safety Report this month.


12. Ranch Comm. and Reservations, Web Development– Ryan Dudinski
Ryan had no web development report will be saved for the June meeting.
A. Save for May \Schedule 2012 ranch projects to be done.
1) Their funding
2) Their placement by month on the 2012 calendar.

13. Member request: Mary Shriber # 285
Discussion of the water drilling rig on Slide Canyon near the ranch gate removed. The bit is stuck in the drilling hole. No action was taken.

Motion to Adjourn and go into executive session by Shawna Cox seconded by Dale Clarkson. Vote was unanimous.
