Brad Hunt, Treasurer

My wife Tammy and I and our 6 children fell in love with Deer Springs Ranch, when my mom and dad purchased a lot over 20 years ago. Even when they later sold their lot, we dreamed of the day we could purchase one of own. Our dreams came true a little over 2 years ago when we purchased lot #149. We love the peace, the solitude and the spirit of the ranch. Some of our favorite memories are watching the “magic moment” each evening when the sun lights up Deer Springs Point, gathering here each year for our family reunions, watching our children and grandchildren catch their first fish at the ponds, riding horses, driving Texas Longhorns and riding our ATVs while exploring some of the most scenic beauty Utah has to offer. Even though places like DSR are becoming more and more rare, I believe DSR has been and continues to be a great place to keep western family experiences alive. I accepted this nomination because I feel lot owners have an obligation to do their part in protecting, managing and enhancing this beautiful, one-of-a-kind ranch. I feel it is very important that the board’s decisions reflect the will of as many lot owners as possible. I will work hard to represent the concerns and ideas of each member of the DSROA, from year-round residents and cabin owners, to those who own an undeveloped lot but enjoy spending time in association cabins and on association ground. We currently live in St. George, Utah.
